Is farm-a-leaf organic?

Our produce is not accredited by the USDA, however we grow our greens indoors using hydroponics, which enables us to eliminate all types of chemical sprays that may even be used by organic farms. The edible portion of our greens will never come in contact with any pesticides or herbicides so we are truly chemical-free and you can rest assured you’re getting clean, high-quality greens!

Does farm-a-leaf make all products on the store?

We grow all things produce and have partnered with local farms and small businesses to provide you easier access to additional local products. We know there are many wonderful businesses throughout Connecticut that make fresh, tasty products. They may be too far of a drive for you or may sell only select items, and that’s where we come in to help. We want to bridge the gap between you and the local business by offering their best sellers right on our store – our produce included!

I am interested in the subscription service. How do I subscribe?

You can subscribe to individual items of your choosing – simply navigate to our store and select the subscription option next to each item as well as the frequency you prefer. Based on your preference, you can set your subscription at a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

How do I cancel or make changes to my existing subscription(s)?

You can pause, edit, or cancel all subscriptions at any time. You can even skip a delivery if needed. This can all be managed in your individual account. If you need any support, please contact support@farm-a-leaf.com and we’d be happy to assist you!

How do I add/remove products from my existing subscription(s)?

You can add, remove, and change product quantities by logging into your account. To add a new product, you can click on the “Add new product” button or the farm-a-leaf logo at the top left corner of the page. Both options will bring you to our shop homepage and here you can select the product(s) desired and click on the add to next delivery button. You can also remove and update quantities by clicking on the “x” next to the product you wish to remove or click on the “change quantity” button.

How do I update my subscription frequency?

You can update this information by logging into your account and clicking on the “Change frequency” dropdown and selecting your desired frequency.

Can I pause or skip my upcoming order?

You sure can! We make it super easy to do so by simply navigating to your account and clicking on the “Pause delivery” or the “Skip upcoming order” buttons.

I do not wish to subscribe, but I would like to make a one-time purchase. Can I do that?

Yes, you can make one-time purchases for all items. Simply navigate to our store and select the one-time purchase option next to each item.

Do you charge a delivery fee?

Yes, we charge delivery fees, which are based on total spend. All orders under $15 will incur a standard fee of $4.99 (standard delivery fee). If you spend a minimum of $15, you will be charged $2.50 for delivery (discount fee). If you spend $20 or more, we offer FREE delivery.

When are orders fulfilled?

We fulfill all orders on Saturdays between 7am-2pm. Depending on your area, we may deliver your products early in the day because there is (1) higher probability of you being home and (2) we take advantage of cooler temperatures, especially in the summer months.

When must I place an order to guarantee delivery?

All orders must be placed by Thursday at 3pm to guarantee delivery the same week. This gives us enough time to harvest and pack orders so they are ready to go!

Will you consider adding more days for the delivery service?

Yes, we plan to add more days to the delivery schedule as our customer base expands, giving you more flexibility and convenience.
